I love Lambeth Country Show and usually attend on both days because dancing outside with friends, in the sunshine, to great music is one of my absolutely favourite things to do. This is the view when you leave the Country Show, walking towards the Brixton Water Lane exit. I used gold leaf to show the low sun gleaming on the people leaving. The gold leaf is iridescent and this painting changes throughout the day as the light changes, it glows in low light – see “Leaving the Country Show” in low light post.
